Neil and Seth get a major award!

We are proud to announce that Officer Bolduc and Lt. Rodgers have been selected by the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association as recipients of the 2024 Medal of Valor award following nomination submissions by the Chief. This prestigious award recognizes their exceptional bravery and dedication to duty.

Rainy National Night Out a Success

We had an incredible time at this year’s National Night Out event! The evening was filled with smiles, laughter, music, games, haircuts, giveaways, and engaging activities for all. It was fantastic to see our community come together, enjoying one another’s company and having fun.

Giving Back.

Our evening shift officers recently came together to make a generous donation to the New London Youth Football League. This contribution reflects their deep commitment to supporting and uplifting our community. The funds will be used to provide valuable resources for our young athletes, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and helping to build a strong foundation for the future leaders of New London.

We’re proud to recognize NLPD Officer Eric Sadowski for his heroic actions while off duty. Recently, Officer Sadowski encountered a motor vehicle accident in Pawcatuck, CT, and didn’t hesitate to stop and provide life-saving measures. His quick thinking and decisive actions undoubtedly made a significant difference in the outcome for those involved.
